03FE500AFFD63C24FF0AF928FA3DF915.taxon	discussion	Remarks and discussion. This species is similar to C. macula generally, but differs from the latter by its wing with cell dm 3 / 4 brown and 1 / 4 pale brown, and having 1 small unclear hyaline spot at apex cell dm (wing with cell dm 1 / 2 brown and 1 / 2 pale brown, and having 1 oblong unclear hyaline spot at apex cell dm in male C. macula, and wing with cell dm almost wholly brown, and having 1 large clear hyaline spot at apex cell dm in female C. macula). In addition, the scutum pattern of this species (only female found) is generally like that of male C. macula (all largely yellow brown with 2 narrow submedian black or black brown vittae), but very different from the scutum of female C. macula, which is predominantly dark brown to black, with a single broad medial yellow stripe extended from the anterior margin of scutum to posterior margin. Only female of this species was found, the male was unknown. It is currently uncertain whether C. chayuica is dimorphic or not. If the species is sexually dimorphic (but corresponding biological information unavailable), then how to distinguish its male will be a challenge. On the other side, the female C. chayuica is similar to C. macula (especially its male), but it can be distinguished from C. macula by different wing patterns as well. We have checked variations within the female C. macula and found no indications that it is conspecific with C. macula. We also have obtained COI barcode of C. chayuica, and got the molecular evidence that it is a different species. This point will be included in a comprehensive phylogenetic study paper on Ortalotrypetini that will surely be completed next year.	en	Chen, Xiaolin, Wang, Yong, Huangfu, Ning (2024): A review of Cyaforma Wang (Diptera: Tephritidae), with some biological notes on the genus. 03FE500AFFD13C21FF0AFC5CFC3BF862.taxon	biology_ecology	Biology. The flies of this species (Fig. 6 A – C) were observed in Huoditang, Shannxi Province, China by Xiaolin Chen and Yong Wang in the summer of 2016. The collection site had high humidity and dense vegetation, located at an elevation of 1552 m. The habitat was a broad-leaved forest along a small walking path. We found two closely related species, Ortalotrypeta costamacula Chen & Wang, 2021 and C. shenonica in the grass under trees. They lived in the habitat where Pilea and graminaceous plants were the dominant vegetation. There were also some sawfly larvae in the habitat. Several flies and sawfly larvae were collected and maintained together in a cage. One female C. shenonica was observed to prick the body of a sawfly larva using its abdomen (Fig. 6 D) which is perhaps evidence of parasitic habits for this species. In addition, when C. shenonica was maintained together with O. costamacula in a cage, C. shenonica seemed more aggressive than O. costamacula.	en	Chen, Xiaolin, Wang, Yong, Huangfu, Ning (2024): A review of Cyaforma Wang (Diptera: Tephritidae), with some biological notes on the genus. 03FE500AFFD03C2FFF0AF9A8FB00F83B.taxon	biology_ecology	Biology. Flies of this species (Fig. 7 A – D) were observed in Xishan, Kunming, Yunnan Province, China by Yong Wang in the autumn of 2018. The climate there was damp and foggy. The collection site was located at the top of Xishan Mountain on a roadside. One side of the road was very close to a dense forest. The flies were found and collected on leaves of an invasive plant, Ageratina adenophora, where sugar water had been sprayed on leaves. So, it was assumed that the flies had been lured from the forest beside the road by the sugar water.	en	Chen, Xiaolin, Wang, Yong, Huangfu, Ning (2024): A review of Cyaforma Wang (Diptera: Tephritidae), with some biological notes on the genus.
