Distinct boundary between crown and face. Scutellum with rounded apical margin, prominent transverse striations. Females: terminal abdominal segment (telson) conical, longer than wide, apical half with setae. Hind femur with setal formula 2 + 2 + 1. Male pygofer quadrate, without latero-apical process. Connective Y- or T-shaped. Forewings subhyaline, with supernumerary costal cross-veins, numerous false veins composed of pigmented lines.
