In B. distanti aedeagal shaft is smooth medially as in B. albilateralis but the apex in lateral view is pointed.

https://treatment.plazi.org/id/EA23878AFFCDFFB8FF5CFCB6FCFB8D38	Public Domain	No known copyright restrictions apply. The new genus also differs from Idioscopus in not having apical or subapical processes on the aedeagal shaft (processes present in Idioscopus); from Amritodus in the absence of a well-developed preatrium and the aedeagus not S-shaped (aedeagus in Amritodus is S-shaped and has a well-developed preatrium); it differs from Busoniomimus in lacking an angular ventral projection on the male pygofer and the aedeagal shaft is not pustulate (male pygofer has an angular ventral projection and the aedeagal shaft in majority of species is pustulate in Busoniomimus).

https://treatment.plazi.org/id/EA23878AFFCBFFBEFF5CFD21FEBC8CED	Public Domain	No known copyright restrictions apply. Xizangocerus gen. nov. resembles Amritodus Anufriev in the shape of the aedeagus and the structure of the female valvulae I and II, but differs in having (i) forewing with r-m1 cross vein (absent in Amritodus); (ii) the hind basitarsus with three platellae (four in Amritodus); (iii) segment X with well-developed long internal process (process short and stout in Amritodus) and (iv) female sternite VII long with truncate posterior margin (sternite VII short with concave posterior margin in Amritodus). Viraktamath & Hongsaprug (1990) described a species, Idioscopus thailandensis Viraktamath & Hongsaprug from Thailand ( Dio Ang Kand, Chiangmai), and our careful examination of the description and male genitalia figures suggests that it belongs to this new genus, so we propose it as a new combination here Xizangocerus thailandensis (Viraktamath & Hongsaprug) comb. nov.

https://treatment.plazi.org/id/EA23878AFFC5FFB3FF5CFC97FB398A93	Public Domain	No known copyright restrictions apply.
