Tityus stigmurus complex
Diagnosis: The species of the T. stigmurus complex can be distinguished from those of the T. confluens complex by metasomal segments I–IV yellowish with blackish lateral and ventral spots (Fig. 6); metasomal segment V with a blackish ventral stain occupying distal half (Figs. 1; 17C–D); the dorsal lateral carinae of segments II–IV with 1 to 10 posterior spinoid granules of variable size (Figs. 6; 13B; 17C–D); absence of the basal lobe in males (Figs. 2 B; 9B; 11A–B).
