Diaphanogryllacris Karny, 1937

Comments: The following species are then transfered from Niphetogryllacris and are included in Diaphanogryllacris: D. annandalei (Griffini, 1914a) n. comb., D. barkudensis (Chopard, 1924) n. comb., D. dravida (Karny, 1929) n. comb. and D. gravelyi (Griffini, 1914a) n. comb. These changes were made because the morphological characters of these species, such as moderately developed mid and fore tibiae and the similar terminalia are more akin to Diaphanogryllacris than to the other genera in the region, also the patterns of coloration and structure of the terminalia, agree with the typical form of the genus.
