Comments. Heteronardoa was reviewed by Rowe (1976), who recognized two species, Heteronardoa carinata, which possessed adradial plates extending to the arm tip and Heteronardoa diamintinae which was characterized by an incomplete series of adradial plates and a higher number of furrow spines.
