Remarks. In southern California, the hosts of this species are likely to be Conwentzia nigrans Carpenter and Parasemidalis flaviceps Banks, which were the most abundant coniopterygids found in association with T. microrphanos (Gordh 1973) . In northern California, there are two instances (EMEC) where a T. microrphanos adult was reared from the same host ( C. barretti) specimen as a Dendrocerus sp. ( Hymenoptera: Megaspilidae), representing the extremely rare phenonomon of multiple parasitism. An undetermined species of this genus has been collected from Lassen and Santa Barbara counties (UCRC).
