Distribution. China (Chongqing).

Remarks. The genital organs of Agyneta orthogonia Irfan, Wang & Zhang, 2023 resemble those of the genus Microneta because the embolic division is similar to those in M. circumacta sp. n. and M. maliuxiensis sp. n., and its epigyne also resembles that of M. circumacta sp. n. . On the basis of structural affiliation, it is proposed here as Microneta orthogonia (Irfan, Wang & Zhang, 2023) comb. n. .
