Tupiperla robusta Froehlich, 1998: 29 .

Material examined: BR, MG, Alto Caparaó, Parque Nacional do Caparaó, Rio Caparaó (S20°25'0.29" W41°50'7.67"), 2 males and 2 females, 12–13.iii.2002, RWH, HP, RJB, ALP.

Remarks: The adult males studied here have a forewing length of 9.1–9.6 mm and females of 11.3–11.5 mm. This is the first record of this species for Minas Gerais State.
