Previous records. Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region (“Hohle Nyu – Jie bei dem nahe der Grenze gegen Vietnam zu liegenden Ortes Pulung”) (Loksa, 1959).

Remarks. Only known from China. Loksa’s original description of this species was based on single male specimen from Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region. Eason (1978) moved tetrophthalmus to Australobius .
