Habitat

Intertidal, subtidal to 79 m (probably to 492 m, see Prantoni et al. 2016), medium to coarse sand.

Distribution

Georges Bank SE of Massachusetts, on the continental shelf (and slope?) off New Jersey and North Carolina, USA.
