Salka songae sp. nov.

Description. Crown, pronotum and scutellum brownish yellow (Fig. 34). Vertex with large central black patch; pronotum with irregular black patch madially; scutellum with basal triangles enlarged, brownish black and with triangular black spot between basal triangles (Fig. 34). Face orange yellow, with lorum blackish brown. Fore wing beige.
Male abdominal apodemes slightly exceeding 3rd sternite (Fig. 35).
Male genitalia: Pygofer with dorsal appendage large, branched near base (Fig. 36). Subgenital plate expanded subbasally, with 3 macrosetae in oblique row on outer lateral surface and row of short rigid setae along upper margin (Fig. 37). Style apex little expanded, preapical lobe obvious (Fig. 38). Aedeagus simple, with dorsal apodeme expanded in lateral view and preatrium short; gonopore at apex (Figs 39, 40). Connective with central lobe well developed, stem short (Fig. 41).
Specimen examined. Holotype: 3, CHINA, Yunnan Prov., Lanping, 8-VIII-2006, coll. Qiongzhang Song. Paratypes: 43, same data as holotype; 33, CHINA, Yunnan Prov., Lijiang, 7-VIII-2006, coll. Zaihuang Yang.
Measurement. Male length 4.0~4.2 mm (including wing).
Remarks. This species resembles S. parvula Sohi & Mann (1994), but differs in having a bifurcate dorsal pygofer appendage (Fig. 36); the aedeagal shaft tubular, slim and sinuate in lateral view (Fig. 39); and the connective with the central lobe large (Fig. 41).
Etymology. The species is named for the one of collectors, Ms. Q. Z. Song.
