2. Mimosa albida Humboldt & Bonpland ex Willd. var. albida

The main distribution of M. albida lies in Mexico, C. America and NW South America with only a handful of outlier records from Bolivia (from Yungas and Santa Cruz), and it is doubtfully native here (Barneby 1991).
