Distribution in Iran. Sistan & Baluchestan (Wagner 1957 under the spelling P. schaüffelei [sic]; Kerzhner & Josifov 1999, the holotype from pass N. of Karwanda, as member of the subgenus Ktenocoris; Linnavuori 2000 new subgeneric combination).

General distribution. Endemic to Iran.
