Description. Male (Figs. 1, 3). Forewing length 12.5–13.5 mm. Wing upper side pale yellowish brown. Forewings with darker brown Veins; an indistinct brown transVerse postdiscal band is bent outward beyond the cell; male with a grayish-brown plumose tuft oVerlapping and eXtending half of the cell (Moore 1878). Male genitalia (Fig. 24). Uncus bifid in apical half. Cucullus apeX finger-like, medially broadened, curVed Ventrally; basal parts of ValVes Ventral margins split; distal saccular process finger-like, but twice narrower than cucullus. Vesica membranous, consists of long, narrow and apically pointed diVerticulum haVing two small subdiVerticula at base, ductus and Vesica ejaculatorius situated subbasally. Female (Fig. 2). Forewing length 15–15.5 mm. Wing upperside light brown with reddish tint; all markings as in male. Female genitalia (Fig. 36). OVipositor short and broad; apophyses long and thin, apophyses anteriores slightly longer and thinner than apophyses posteriores; ductus bursae weakly sclerotized, dorso-Ventrally flattened, its anterior section membranous; corpus bursae egg-like, membranous, with a large round signum posteriorly.

Distribution. SE Himalayas. All records from other regions are probably mistaken.
