TYPE LOCALITY: Indonesia, Sumatra, Acheen (= Atjeh) .

DISTRIBUTION: Sumatra.

SYNONYMS: albiculus G. Miller, 1942.

COMMENTS: Considered a distinct species by Medway (1977:93). Member of the notatus species group. Corbet and Hill (1992) considered albescens and albiculus assignable to C. notatus .
