TYPE LOCALITY: "near Cafion City." Restricted by Merriam (1905: 163) to Arkansas River, about 26 mi. (42 km] below Canyon City, Fremont Co., Colorado [USA] .
DISTRIBUTION: Montane W North America, from C British Columbia to S New Mexico in the Rocky Mtns, and the Columbia River south to S California and Nevada.
