Xenodon nattereri (Steindachner, 1867)

Type locality. Brazil .

Distribution. Endemic to Brazil (Plt. 401A). Widespread in the Cerrado, and in tis contact areas with the Atlantic Forest and Chiquitano Dry Forest. An isolated record in upland grassland areas within the Caatinga (Plt. 401A), mostly at intermediate to high elevations (Plt. 401B). Observed in the field in savannas and grasslands (FranÇa et al., 2008; Sawaya et al., 2008, Valdujo et al., 2009).
