Diagnosis. This species is distinguished by the completely brown scutum, acrostichals divergent around prescutellar depression, 5 pairs of dorsocentrals with few interspersed shorter setae, fore femur apically without strong anterior setae; clasping cercus unilobed, large and subrectangular.

Distribution. PALAEARCTIC: Caucasus: Russia (Adygea Republic, Krasnodarsky Territory, Karachay- Cherkess Republic), Georgia, Abkhazia.

Remarks. The species is noted from the territory of Georgia for the first time. It is a common species, known from mountain rivers of the Caucasus from elevations between 435–1650 m a.s.l. and is active from April to August.
