Megachile manaosensis Schrottky 1913a: 201 . Male. Type locality: Manaus, Amazonas, Brazil. Type repository: MZSP. (Not M. (Acentron) manaosensis Mitchell 1930: 203 . See Mitchell 1943b: 671.) Based on the description the species is tentatively placed in this subgenus.
