10. Conicera pacifica Michailovskaya (Figs. 10A–C)

Conicera pacifica Michailovskaya, 2000: 12 (♂, Russia: Primorskii krai).

Description. Male. Frons brown. Supra-antennal setae and lower fronto-orbital setae present. Lower interfrontal setae slightly shorter than upper interfrontal setae and the distance between each other equaled to that between upper interfrontal setae. First flagellomere dark brown, 0.16 mm long, with an aspect ratio of 1.93:1; arista 0.23 mm long, 1.4 times as long as that of first flagellomere. Palpus dark brown, slender, with short setae apically.

Thorax yellowish brown. Fore and mid legs yellow, hind leg yellowish brown. Fore tibia with 10 small near-dorsal setulae, the uppermost being longer than the rest. Fore tarsus with posterodorsal setal palisade on all five tarsomeres. Mid femur without sense-organ. Wing length 1.07–1.10 mm. Costal index 0.37, costal ratio 2.2:1, costal setulae length 0.04 mm. Rs without basisetula. Veins brown, except A 1 +CuA 2 whitish gray. Membrane light grayish brown. Halter dark brown.

Abdominal tergites brown. Terminalia (Figs. 10A–C) yellowish brown. Left surstylus (Fig. 10B) short, square, with about 3 fine inner teeth apically. Right surstylus (Fig. 10C) slender, lanceolate, with 3 inner teeth and lacking basidorsal process.

Female. Unknown.

Distribution. China (Heilongjiang, Jilin, Liaoning), Russia (Far East).

Remarks. The species is recorded for the first time from China. It is similar to C. spinifera Liu, 2001, but it differs from the latter by lanceolate right surstylus and smaller inner teeth.
