12. Conicera angusta sp. nov. (Figs. 11A–E, 29F)
Description. Male. Body length 1.4 mm. Frons dark brown. Supra-antennal setae present. Lower fronto-orbital setae absent. Lower interfrontal setae shorter than upper interfrontal setae and the distance between each other shorter than that between upper interfrontal setae. First flagellomere brown, 0.19 mm long, with an aspect ratio of 2.78:1; arista 0.20 mm long, 1.06 times as long as that of first flagellomere. Palpus light brown, slender, with 6 short setae apically.
Thorax brown. Mid and hind legs yellowish brown, fore leg yellow. Fore tibia with 12 small near-dorsal setulae, the uppermost being longer than the rest. Fore tarsus with posterodorsal setal palisade on all five tarsomeres. Mid femur without sense-organ. Wing (Fig. 29F) length 1.16 mm. Costal index 0.37, costal ratio 2.74:1, costal setulae length 0.030 –0.035 mm. Rs with basisetula. Veins brown, except A 1 +CuA 2 whitish gray. Membrane hyaline. Halter brown.
Abdominal tergites brown. Terminalia (Figs. 11A–C) brown. Left and right surstyli similar, long banded. Left surstylus (Figs. 11C, E) with a row of 12 long, pointed inner teeth along dorsal and apical edges. Right surstylus (Figs. 11B, D) also with a row of 12 long, pointed inner teeth along dorsal and apical edges, and with a long basidorsal process.
Female. Unknown.
Etymology. The specific epithet is derived from the Latin word angustus (narrow), representing the character of the surstyli.
Specimen examined. Holotype, ♂, Guangdong, Nanling, Wuzhishanzhen, 31-Jul-2011, Jianfeng Wang . Paratypes, 1♂, same data as for holotype; 1 ♂, Hainan, Mt. Jianfeng, 19-May-2004, Guangchun Liu .
Distribution. China (Guangdong, Hainan).
Remarks. This species is similar to C. wittei Disney, 2009, it differs from the latter by presence of Rs basisetula and broader basidorsal process of right surstylus.
