Remarks: Parenti (2011: 167) considered P. constantinella a synonym of P. farinella (Thunberg & Wenner, 1794) without explanation. Based on examination of a long series of P. constantinella collected by Walsingham in Constantine, Algeria, near the type locality of P. constantinella, in NHMUK, this synonymy is deemed incorrect and is not followed here.
