Elachista pullinigrella Bruand, 1859: 688 . Type locality: [Europe]. Bruand’s elachistine collection lost; identity based on Leraut (1997: 68).

Distribution: Palearctic. Austria, Croatia, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Norway, Poland, Russia (European part, Caucasus, Siberia), Slovakia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Ukraine.

Larval host plant(s): Arrhenaterum sp., Avena sp., Avenula pratensis (L.) Dumort., Calamagrostis epigejos (L.) Roth, Dactylis glomerata L., Deschampsia cespitosa (L.) Beauv., D. flexuosa (L.) Trin., Elymus repens (L.) Gould, Festuca ovina L., F. rubra L., F. trachyphylla (Hackel) Krajina, Holcus lanatus L., Koeleria cristata (L.) Pers.
