Subgenus: Aphelosetia; argentella species group.

Distribution: Palearctic. Algeria, France, Italy (continent, Sardinia, Sicily), Malta, Portugal, Spain, Tunisia.

Larval host plant(s): Dasypyrum villosum (L.) P. Candargy ( Poaceae) (Parenti & Varalda (1994).
