Remarks: The identity of E. stelviella, known only from the holotype with the abdomen lost (but genitalia sketched in the original description), was recently clarified when a fresh specimen matching the holotype of E. stelviella was found near the type locality, which is also in the vicinity of the type locality of E. zernyi . Its appearance and genitalia match those of other studied specimens of E. zernyi in the Alps, as well as the genitalia illustrated in the original description of E. stelviella . The DNA barcode of the fresh specimen is identical to specimens of E. zernyi from the Alps and Fennoscandia. E. stelviella Amsel, 1932 is considered a senior synonym of E. zernyi Hartig, 1941 .
