Elachista ilicrina Falkovitsh, 1986: 171 . Type locality: Uzbekistan, Shamansaj (Falkovitsh 1986: 171). Holotype ♂, in ZISP.

Subgenus: Aphelosetia; bedellella species group.

Distribution: Palearctic. Uzbekistan.

Larval host plant(s): unknown.

Remarks: The whereabouts of the genital slide of the holotype are presently unknown. Kaila (2011d) considered E. ilicrina to belong to the E. argentella species group on the basis of the illustration in the original description. Later, additional material was found from the type locality matching the holotype of E. ilicrina . According to the latter specimens, E. ilicrina belongs to the E. pollutella species complex sensu Kaila (2011d) in the E. bedellella species group.
