Distribution: Palearctic. Austria, Bulgaria, Croatia, Czech Republic, France, Greece, Hungary, Italy, Russia (European part, Siberia), Slovakia, Spain, Switzerland, Ukraine.

Larval host plant(s): Stipa pennata L., S. pulcherrima C. Koch (Poaceae) (Gaedike 1975; Steuer 1980).
