Diagnosis (Liu et al. 2009a). Surface of body finely punctate, ventral region with reticulation, latero-posterior region of ventral plate ornamented by longitudinal lines. Lateral carinae of prodorsum absent; sensilli long and barbed; interlamellar setae moderately long, erect, and barbed; lamellar and rostral setae short and barbed, bent distally; exobothridial setae smaller than diameter of bothridia, comparative length: in> le> ro> ex; lamellar setae situated more close to interlamellar setae than rostral setae. “Notogastral” setae barbed in distal half, except c 3 smooth. Ten pairs of “ventral” setae, among them seven pairs covered with small spines, three pairs near adanal plates thin and smooth; nine pairs of smooth genital setae, among them six pairs situated near paraxial margin, one pair of smooth setae in aggenital position; two pairs of smooth anal setae present, adanal setae absent.
