Metriogryllacris (Metriogryllacris) fida species group

Diagnosis. Tegmina obviously longer than pronotum. Hooks of male ninth abdominal tergite slightly separated, immobile, its apices directing ventrad. Female seventh abdominal sternite with a transverse fold bearing a copulatory depression at each side; subgenital plate not fused with the preceding sternite, with 1 pair of tubercles.

Discussion. Metriogryllacris magna was mainly distributed in Taiwan and Ryukyus Island and Ichikwa though Metriogryllacris fida was a synonym of this species.
