Alompra bidiensis Tams, 1953 stat. nov.

(Figs 6, 12, 22, 23)

Alompra ferruginea bidiensis Tams, 1953, Tijdschr. Plant., 59: 166, figs 2, 11. Streblote lajonquierei Bender & Dierl, 1982, Entomofauna 3: 367.

Specimens examined. Type material: Holotype. ♂, [MALAYSIA], Borneo, Sarawak, Bidi, 1907–1908, leg. C. J. Brooks, genitalia slide No. 1064 (BMNH).

Taxonomic notes. Bender and Dierl (1982) described Streblote lajonquierei from Sumatra, with the illustration of male genitalia and 8th sternite. This species was later synonymized with A. ferruginea bidiensis by Holloway (1987). Both Bornean and Sumatran specimens (illustrated by Bender and Dierl, 1982) are identical in male genitalia and shape of the 8th abdominal sternite, thus we regard the two populations belong to the same species.

Diagnosis. See the diagnosis part of A. ferruginea for details. Distribution. Borneo and Sumatra.

Bionomics. Hitherto only three specimens were known, the Sumatra adults occur in the lower mountain range in mid August (Bender and Dierl, 1982).
