Euparyphasma obscura (Sick, 1941)

Lithocharis obscura Sick, 1941: 9 . Type-locality: China, Yunnan, Li-kiang. Lectotype ♂ (ZFMK).

Distribution. China (Yunnan), Vietnam.

Remarks. Zhao (2004) wrongly recorded the distribution of this species as “Hubei, Hunan, Yunnan, Shaanxi; Japan ”, on the basis of specimens from Hunan and Shaanxi which were misidentified as E. maxima (Leech, 1888) .
