Material examined. CHINA: Shaanxi Province: 16 males, 4 females, Zhouzhi County, Houzhenzi, old town, 33.79211°N, 107.74421°E, 1860 m, pitfall traps, 14.VIII.2007, coll. Hongliang Shi (IZ-CAS). Measurements. Body length: 13.2–17.5 mm. CL: 0.75; EL: 2.11; ELS: 0.78; EW: 2.96; HL: 2.21; HW: 2.66; PO: 1.02; PL: 2.89; PW: 2.73.

Distribution. Ocypus neocles is at present known from Shaanxi and Henan Province.
