Chamaepsichia Razowski, 2009, Polish Journal of Entomology 78: 240.
Type species: Mictopsichia durranti Walsingham, 1914: 304 .
Chamaepsichia was proposed for one described and one undescribed species: C. durranti (Walsingham, 1914) and R. rubrochroa Razowski 2009; one new species is described herein bringing the total to three. The genus is known from Costa Rica, Bolivia, and Brazil. Adults are virtually indistinguishable from those of Rubropsichia in facies, but the male genitalia are highly divergent, with a rodlike uncus and the complete atrophy of the socii. Nothing is known of the biology.
