Blastobasis inouei Moriuti, 1987: 172 . Type locality: Japan. Type deposited: UOP.
Material examined. CHINA: Jilin Province: 3♂, Gaoshan Garden, Weidong 14 Watchtower, Mt. Changbai, 20.VII.2016, coll. Mujie Qi, Juan Li and Yanyan Jia.
Diagnosis. Adult (Fig. 8) forewing length 4.5–5.0 mm. The male genitalia of B. inouei can be distinguished by the proximal flange with a small cluster of hairlike setae at the base on the ventral margin, with a row of elongate spine-like setae on the outer margin, and the membrane above the proximal flange with sparse microtrichiae; and the ventral part of the valva with the distal process narrowly rounded apically (Fig. 18). This species is similar to B. spinisetosa in the male genitalia, and the differences between them are given in the diagnosis of B. spinisetosa .
Distribution. China (Jilin), Japan (Hokkaido), Russian Far East.
Note. This species is recorded for the first time in China.
