30. Amblyomma crenatum Neumann, 1899 .

Oriental: 1) Indonesia (west of Wallace’s Line) and Malaysia (Kolonin 2009).

Due to a labeling error, Neumann (1899) described Amblyomma crenatum from a female tick allegedly collected in South Africa, but this species is not present in Africa (Theiler & Salisbury 1959, Petney & Keirans 1995).
