REMARKS. The second of the smallest Proarna species in Bolivia. It can be distinguished from P. dactyliophora by the infuscation along the nodal line of the fore wing, the proportionately shorter fore wings (less than 16.5 mm) and reduced piceous markings particularly within the sutures.

DISTRIBUTION. The species has been reported from Argentina, Bolivia and Paraguay (Metcalf 1963a; Sanborn 2011b; 2013; Sanborn & Heath 2014).
