Fidicina robini Boulard & Martinelli 1996: 38 . (Manaus, Amazonas, Brazil)

REMARKS. Fidicina robini is generally larger than F. mannifera and F. christinae with a wingspan greater than 130 mm but is similar in size to F. ethelae . The species can be distinguished further by the timbal cover of the male not extend below the metascutellar plate, the male operculum with a more rounded posterolateral margin, the fore femora proximal and apical spines being upright with respect to the femoral axis, and the lateral branch of the uncus is straight terminating in a point.

DISTRIBUTION. The species has been recorded previously from Brazil and French Guiana (Sanborn 2011a; 2013).
