Xyleborus kaimochii Nobuchi, 1981: 143 . syn. n.

Taxonomy: The type of X. kaimochii was not available for study. Nobuchi’s description and dorsal habitus photo within the publication were compared with a syntype of X. metacuneolus (NMNH), as well as specimens from Singapore (RAB), and Indonesia (NMNH). The specimens were found to be conspecific and X. kaimochii is here placed in synonymy.
