(Fig. 56, 68a, 68b)
Idaea pallidata: Beljaev & Mironov 2019: 277 (Sakhalin).
Material examined. 2 ♂, Tymovskoe, 8.VI.2003.
Distribution. Russia (RFE: central Sakhalin, central Khabarovskii Krai, Amurskaya Oblast; S Yakutia, S and W Siberia, Urals, European Part, N Caucasus), NE China (Heilongjiang), Mongolia, Kazakhstan, N Kyrgyzstan, Transcaucasia, Turkey, Europe.
Remarks. The finding of I. pallidata in Sakhalin significantly expands its distribution range to the east. This meadow species, strictly boreal in East Palearctic, was found in the central Sakhalin in a zone of the spruce-fir forests dominance. In the Europe the larvae feed on the wilted leaves of various dicotyledonous herbs and low shrubs— Taraxacum, Hieracium, Achillea ( Asteraceae), Vaccinium ( Ericaceae), Valeriana ( Caprifoliaceae), and Filipendula ( Rosaceae).
