Host plants: Alhagi maurorum Medik., Arachis hypogaea L. ( Fabaceae); Cynodon dactylon (L.) Persoon ( Poaceae) (GarcĂa Morales et al. 2016).
Distribution: China (Yunnan), India, Pakistan.
Remarks: Neomargarodes niger was reported from Yunnan province on unknown perennial grass on a dry hill top by Ferris (1950); however, both Jakubski (1965) and Jikun Yang (1979) doubted the identification. Specimens of this species have not been seen in this study.
