Pseudispa Chapuis

Pseudispa Chapuis 1875: 328 [as subgenus of Cephalodonta]. Type species: Cephalodonta marginata Guérin­Méneville (by original designation).

Body elongate, slightly convex. Head: small; medial sulcus present. Antenna: with 11 antennomeres; antennomere I short; II elongate; III to VII obconical, decreasing in length; VIII to XI shorter than preceding, cylindrical, thickened. Pronotum: subparallel; basal impression present; longitudinal medial sulcus present. Elytron: oblong, parallel­sided, almost vertical from 3rd costa; lateral and apical margins smooth; humerus not pronounced; apex almost vertical, truncate; secondary rows of punctures present between intervals 2 and 4.
