Material examined. Three females, Silifke-Mersin, 15 May 2002, on Inula viscosa L. ( Asteraceae). Specimens are deposited in the mite collection of the Acarology Laboratory, Department of Plant Protection, Çukurova University, Adana, Turkey.

Distrubution. Algeria, France, Greece, Israel, Jordan, Lebanon, Portugal, Spain (Moraes et al., 2004; Papadoulis et al., 2009) and Turkey (this study).
