Corvus sinaloae Davis
Corvus sinaloae Davis, 1958: 163 (Escunapa, Mexico).
Now Corvus sinaloae Davis, 1958 . See Blake and Vaurie, 1962: 269; American Ornithologists’ Union, 1998: 451; Dickinson, 2003: 513; and dos Anjos, 2009: 627–628.
HOLOTYPE: AMNH 71674, adult male, collected at Escuinapa (= Escunapa) de Hidalgo, 22.50N, 105.46W (Times Atlas), Sinaloa, Mexico, on 16 November 1895, by J.H. Batty.
COMMENTS: Davis cited the AMNH number of the holotype in the original description. He gave the wing/tail ratios of 10 male and 11 female specimens in AMNH and USNM, but there seems to be no way to identify these specimens. The specimens for which he provided tape recordings were apparently not collected.
