HOLOTYPE: AMNH 722773, adult male, collected at Bogoro (= Buguéra), 01.24N, 30.15E (Chapin, 1954a), eastern Ituri district, Congo (Kinshasa), on 23 March 1889, by Emin Pasha (no. 1). From the Rothschild Collection.

COMMENTS: Hartlaub apparently had a single specimen; the measurements he published are those written by Emin on his field label.
