Type locality: off Jakarta, Java, Indonesia.

The four Taiwanese samples of C. punctatum included in this analysis form a single cluster, distinct from a C. punctatum clade containing one sample from Indonesian Borneo (GN4446) and from a C. cf. punctatum clade containing one sample from northeastern Australia (GN2590) (Supplementary Material 1).
