Origin of the material examined. Igrapiúna, Bahia, H. brasiliensis 12 February 2009 (2), 10 October 2008 (1), 7 November 2008 (14).

Remarks. This species was previously recorded on rubber trees from Mato Grosso State (Demite & Feres, 2008), and it is commonly found on cassava ( Manihot esculenta, Euphorbiaceae) in the State of Bahia (Moraes et al., 1994; Bonato et al., 1999).
