Genus Alpinella gen. nov.

Diagnosis. Differs from all other Caucasian anthroleucosomatid genera by the presence of one flagelliform coxal process on the posterior gonopods. Distinguished from the obviously particularly similar genus Heterocaucaseuma gen. nov. in the absence of an anterior sternal sac and the presence of a more complex lateral part of the anterior gonopods.

Etymology. The new genus is named after its habitat, an alpine meadow. The name is a feminine noun.
