Persedicus martensi Mauriès, 1982: 385 –390, figs 1–6, syn. nov.

Diagnosis. Differs from the other Metamastigophorophyllon species by the general shape of sternal lamella and inner branches of the anterior gonopods.

Type locality. IRAN: Province Mazandaran, 11 km E Alasht, dense forest, wet litter, 1400 m asl.

Material studied (total: 143 males, 95 females, 13 juveniles). All from AZERBAIJAN: 29 males, 24 females, 1 juvenile (ZMUM ρ3372), 1 male (IZB), Farm Azerbaijan, ca 10 km SE of Lerik, 550 m asl, Quercus, Caprinus, Acer etc., along stream, litter, wood, 12 Oct. 1983, S.
