Remarks. The species is reported for the first time from South America. Peruvian specimens are much larger than most Costa Rican specimens, with a body length 8.1–9.3 mm and fore wing length 5.5–6.5 mm (usually 5.0–7.0 mm and 4.0–5.0 mm in Costa Rican specimens, respectively), flagellum with 35–37 segments, second tergite of metasoma 1.7–2.1× as long as broad anteriorly, and ovipositor sheath 1.6–2.0× as long as first tergite.
